LaRora Hestle is a proud U.S. Army veteran, mother, and passionate community advocate who understands firsthand the challenges of balancing family responsibilities while working toward a better future.

Drawing from her own life experiences as a single mother, LaRora learned the importance of perseverance, resourcefulness, and making the most of available opportunities.

Her personal journey inspired her to establish The 1st Step Inc. in 2019, with a vision of helping other women and families overcome obstacles and access the resources needed to move forward.

What began as a desire to assist families with essential needs has grown into an organization dedicated to empowering women through education, personal development, financial literacy, emotional wellness, and community support.

LaRora believes that every woman deserves the opportunity to grow, rebuild, and create a brighter future, regardless of her circumstances or where she is in life's journey.

Through The 1st Step Inc., she remains committed to encouraging women to recognize their strengths, embrace new possibilities, and understand that meaningful change often begins with The 1st Step.
