Little Steps Boutique

Little Steps Boutique is a community-based program by The 1st Step Inc. that provides essential baby and toddler clothing, gear, and accessories to families in need. Whether welcoming a newborn or caring for a growing toddler, this program helps relieve the financial burden by offering families access to gently used and new items all at no cost.

From onesies and blankets to bottles, diapers, bibs and more, Little Steps Boutique ensures that families have what they need to care for their little ones with dignity, warmth, and confidence.

Available by appointment or at select community events, the Boutique is stocked through generous donations and community partnerships, serving as a compassionate resource for mothers, caregivers, and babies during life’s most delicate moments.

Steps Forward

The Steps Forward Community Service Program by The 1st Step Inc. provides individuals with nonviolent and nonsexual offenses the opportunity to complete their court-ordered community service hours in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Since January 2025, the program has already provided over 200 hours of service to participants, allowing them to not only fulfill their legal obligations but also to engage in meaningful work that directly benefits families in need.

Through activities such as assisting with community events, supporting giveaways, and contributing to creative projects, participants experience the value of giving back. More importantly, Steps Forward creates space for personal growth. Each interaction is an opportunity for open conversation, reflection, and guidance, which helps individuals take positive steps toward lasting change.

By offering hours, mentorship, and encouragement, The 1st Step Inc. stands as a bridge between accountability and empowerment. We believe everyone deserves a chance to move forward, rebuild, and thrive.

Her Wealth, Her Way

Her Wealth, Her Way is The 1st Step Inc.’s financial literacy program created to equip women with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take control of their finances and create lasting stability for themselves and their families.

Hosted quarterly, this empowering series features financial experts, guest speakers, and interactive workshops covering real-world money topics like budgeting, credit, saving, debt management, and homeownership. Each session is designed with women in mind and makes financial education accessible, practical, and culturally relevant.

Whether she’s just starting her financial journey or rebuilding after a setback, Her Wealth, Her Way helps every woman gain the skills and support she needs to build wealth on her own terms.

The Art of Her

The Art of Her is one of

The 1st Step Inc.’s signature programs. This is where Healing Begins and Confidence Grows.

This is a quarterly creative wellness experience designed to uplift and empower women through art, conversation, and community.

In a warm and welcoming environment, women gather to paint, connect, and express themselves freely. Guided art activities are paired with group discussions that promote mental wellness, emotional healing, and sisterhood. Whether overcoming hardship, rediscovering joy, or simply needing space to breathe, women leave feeling supported, inspired, and renewed.

At The 1st Step Inc., we believe every woman carries a vision for her life and sometimes it's clear, sometimes hidden, but always powerful. Her Vision to Victory is our upcoming professional life coaching program designed to help women uncover their purpose, set meaningful goals, and take bold steps toward lasting success.

Through one-on-one coaching, group sessions, and practical tools, participants will gain the clarity, confidence, and strategies needed to move from where they are to where they’re purposed to be.
