This event is FREE and designed to provide a day of relaxation, empowerment, and connection, with activities tailored to support women in every aspect of their journey.

"Let's Get Reading"
We understand how important it is for children to develop strong reading skills and we’re here to support families every step of the way. That’s why we’ve partnered with UF Health’s Lastinger's Literacy Center for Learning to bring you a fun, engaging, and educational event focused on building literacy together! 
If you have children in grades K-5, come join us for an afternoon filled with activities, free books, resources, and tips to help your child grow into a confident reader. Whether your child is just starting out or already reading on their own, this event has something for every family! AND.... lunch will be provided!

"It's YOUR Turn"
On August 23rd, we will host “It’s Your Turn,” a powerful and uplifting event created to remind women that their voice, dreams, and well-being matter. Held at the Highland’s Library Conference Room, this adult-only gathering will feature a guided painting session, an open group discussion, a financial literacy activity, and plenty of inspiration. Guests will enjoy music, raffle prizes, and refreshments — all in a space designed to encourage reflection, connection, and confidence. It will be a reminder that after giving so much to others, it’s finally your turn.

The Art of Her Painting Experience
Sometimes the best thing you can do is let it all out… and put it on the canvas.
Leave It All on the Canvas is an upcoming creative experience from the Her Art Her Way program designed to give women a space to express themselves through art, emotion, and creativity. This guided painting event will be about more than just making art, it’s about releasing what you’ve been carrying, embracing your voice, and creating something uniquely your own.
No painting experience is required. Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or returning to your creative side, this event is about freedom, expression, and connection.
During this experience, participants will:
Create their own guided painting
Connect with other women in a supportive space
Express emotions and stories through art
Leave with a finished canvas and a renewed sense of creativity
